Check in / check out

Questions: 10

The check-in/check-out form records all individuals who have stopped by and influenced the progress of the project – this involves all visitors, subcontractors, etc. This tracks visitors and their use of safety equipment while on site. Each person must, upon arrival, report to the site manager with their full name and general contact information to be added to the control.

The signature is imperatively required on the visitor’s exit with a precise departure time. The site manager, for example, can sign at the end of the form to formalize it or to validate the process.

Example: An architect comes to visit. Upon arrival, he will report to the site manager who will fill in the check-in/check-out form. Upon leaving, he will sign the form to prove his exit.
